Condition: Used
This is an original antique print/illustration, removed from an 1862 issue of the newspaper "The Illustrated London
News", dated at the top of the page.
The overall measurement of the full page print including any margins is approx 16" x 10.75" ( 40cm x 27cm )
The print is titled "Palm Sunday - From a drawing by A. Hunt"
As it is over 150 years old the paper may show signs of aging such as discolouration/foxing or spotting, usually at the margins.
There may be slight creasing and general age related wear - however I will always point out any major flaws such as rips/tears.
As the print was taken from a publication, there is printing on the reverse which may show through.
One edge of the page is ragged with small holes - where it was threaded together in the newspaper.
Please refer to the photos to ensure you are happy with the condition prior to purchase as this is actual item you will receive.
This is an ideal item for mounting & displaying in a frame; suitable
for interior decorators, hotels, public houses, bars, offices, public buildings, restaurants, bed and breakfasts and homes.
This item will be carefully rolled and packaged in a protective cardboard tube
Please check out the "vintage newspaper ephemera" section of my Hip shop for lots more old newspapers, magazines, prints, advertisements and articles.
Many thanks for looking!
