1909 Postcard THE WEARING OF THE GREEN St Patricks Day Woman w/ flag Bird

This postcard is from the DIVIDED BACK ERA (1907-1915). The postcard is embossed and features a winged harp on a green flag, with clover. The reverse shows that it's an invitation to "attend the emblem party to be given by Snedeker & Peek on Saturday evening, March 16, 2007. Erin's green flag (in silk) will be presented to each one.... Special arrangements are being made with the railroad company to accomodate parties from Schenectady, Johnston and Gloversville and all will dance 'till St Patrick's Day in the morning' "
