I am selling a collection of postcards from a 40 year collection! It includes Real Photo postcards, artist signed, auto racing, motorcycles, puzzle cards and more! Be sure to check out my other auctions for some unique cards!
This is a beauty! It is a RP Real Photo RPPC. It shows an image of the remains of a terrible fire! A large building stands in ruin. Signs on the building read First National Bank, Jones Parsons & Co., W.H. Ely & Co. Several people are in view. Ice hangs from the telegraph wires. The front of the card reads WOOD'S BLOCK HOOSICK FALLS NY FIRE, JAN 30 '09.
The card back has handwritten details about the fire. Card back is divided and is postmarked 1909 as shown. Condition is very good to excellent as you can see.
