1915 WW 1 German Navy U Boat Submarine U 9 Cdr picture Postcard Otto Weddigen

Up for auction is a beautiful used color picture postcard, depicting U Boat submarine U 9 commander Otto Weddigen and his wife during World War 1. In excellent condition. Priced to sell. Weddigen was a top U boat commander who sank a number of Allied warships and cargo ships and was the most highly decorated U boat commander in WW 1. The postcard has been written on but was apparently mailed in an envelope. Rare item.
