Condition: Super RARE! Unposted and VERY FINE
A very rare 1930-1945 a coon in the bananas beautiful fl black americana antique scarce. It measures 5 9/16" x 3 1/2"
The banana is not a fruit of a tree but of a giant herb, which, in the tropics attains the height of 40 feet and leaves of a foot wide and 6 to 10 feet long. A large flower bud of small purple flowers appears, each flower developing into a small banana pointing upward. Fully as pipular with the small darkie as the watermelon vine, the banana coaxes a smile from the little black boy, who pokes his kinky head through a large leaf.
Made in U.S.A. by E. C. Kropp Co., Milwaukee, Wisconsin.
