Vintage unused ticket from the last game ever played at Edmonds Field in Sacramento, California. This ticket was for exhibition games between the San Francisco Giants and the Cleveland Indians on April 11-12, 1964. Previously, Edmonds Field, located in downtown Sacramento at the corner of Riverside and Broadway, had been the home field of the Sacramento Solons of the Pacific Coast League (PCL) before they moved to Hawaii after the 1960 season. The last game, on April 12, 1964, featured back-to-back homeruns by Willie Mays and Willie McCovey. Shortly after this game, Edmonds Field was demolished to make way for a Gemco discount store. Ticket measures approximately 1 1/8 by 3 3/4 inches and is in very good condition with slight aging. Please note: actual ticket number may vary.
