Three original postcards of early Superman and Krypton, published in 1972. These are original “Supercards” published for The Amazing World of Superman in Metropolis, Illinois:
* Superman demonstrating his invulnerability by being struck by lightning
* Superman holding a globe representing Krypton, the official emblem of the Amazing World of Superman
* Cover of the first issue of Superman comics, June 1939
This is three out of the four postcards in the set. They are numbered 87611-C, 87613-C, and 87614-C on the backs. The missing postcard is number 87612-C and it shows Superman’s spaceship traveling from Krypton to earth. They are about 4 x 6 inches (10x15cm) size. They are unused and in new condition.
