Atlantic City New Jersey Elephant Hotel Postcard Sent to William H Cotton 1911

This is a great vintage postcard of the Elephant Hotel in Atlantic City New Jersey. It is posted with an Atlantic City postmark in 1911. The item was sent to one William H Cotton, and while we are not sure it is the exact same person, we believe it may have been sent to the artist William H Cotton who was known as an American Portrait painter, caricaturist and playwright who lived in New Jersey. He painted several murals and worked for Vanity Fair and the New Yorker. This is not an authenticated item, but a pretty good guess based on the timeframe, location and individuals.
