I find there is something quite interesting and slightly romantic about antique postcards showing train stations, perhaps it was the thought of travel. They held such an important place in every town and are wonderful historic landmarks. This antique postcard presents a black and white view of the burlington station in alliance nebraska. The building displays an interesting, yet functional architecture.

The card is postally used and cancelled at Alliance in Feb of 1910. The stamp is tied to the card with RPO and RMS cancels. Published by Miller Bros publishing, the card is in good overall condition, however, please note the small ¼” split on the center right-hand side.
