For sale is an original vintage postcard.This remarkable RPPC showcases the central building of Sanssouci Palace in Potsdam, Germany. The image captures the grand Baroque architecture with its ornate dome adorned with statues. A wide staircase leads up to the entrance, flanked by decorative walls and manicured trees. Sanssouci, meaning "without worry" in French, was the summer palace of Frederick the Great, King of Prussia. Built in the 18th century, it reflects the king's desire for a private retreat away from Berlin.
