This embossed postcard, titled 'Christmas Greetings' was mailed from Alameda, California to Los Angeles, California in 1912 franked by a green one-cent George Washington issue (straight edge with guideline, bottom). The stamp is tied to the card by a San Francisco Panama - Pacific Exposition slogan machine cancellation.The circular, central vignette's image is on a silk-like fabric material, possibly hand-painted
