Very attractive and historic Great White Fleet postcard sent December 17, 1907 from Oil City, Pennsylvania flag cancel with related message reading in part, 'Dear Bro, I read in the Derrick you started on your journey. We all wish you a Merry Xmas & Happy New Year & a safe journey.' Sent to Private James Nuttall U.S.F.S. Connecticut Marine Detatchment c/o Postmaster: New York City. Embossed artist sign Clapsaddle Christmas holiday card. Very timely card and scarce usage!

Sent December 17, 1907, divided back with bottom right corner crease, (from picture side) otherwise light corner bumping, bleed through & toning. Fair-Fine condition. (Any streaks on the reverse side of the card are from the scanner and not on the actual card.)
