Edward Heath Prime Minister Private Boat 1971 Hand Signed Christmas Card

CHAU3349  A large original 1971 large 9" x 6" Christmas card from Ted Heath sent to Dr Elston Grey Turner, a personal friend and historic WW2 Doctor of Sir Edward Heath, which the former British Prime Minister has personally signed (see gallery image) and reads from 10 Downing Street - a few places to please allow to upper & edge region but very good overall condition - The card shows his boat Morning Cloud (see image 2) which was the name given by the British politician Edward Heath to a series of five yachts which he owned between 1969 and 1983 and this was his personal boat so his privately printed greeting card too. Whilst sent to the Doctor (see below) the card is undedicated and the signing reads "From Teddy Heath" in blue fountain pen and states from 10 Downing Street.  In view on Sir Edward Heath's private greeting card surely the best autograph opportunity of its kind.

_This has come from the private collection from the estate of Doctor Elston Grey-Turner CBE MC TD (16 August 1916 20 January 1984) who was a British medical doctor who served in World War II and was on the staff of the British Medical Association for many years. He joined the Royal Army Medical Corps and served as regimental medical officer to the 2nd Battalion of the Coldstream Guards 19421945. He was awarded the Territorial Decoration, and also the Military Cross._
