This embossed postcard reading 'to wish my friends on christmas day, all happy things and true, and here and now a line to say "the best i wish for you."' and depicting birds on a holly branch overlooking a bucolic house in winter scene was mailed locally within elnora, new york in 1923 franked with a one-cent green benjamin franklin issue (straight edge with guideline left) tied by a 4-bar killer.
