PFAS24 Antique 5" x 2" autograph from the 1950s and from a former collectors autograph book containing a stunning character hand signed page for Austrian conductor Ernst Marzendorfer (26 May 1921 16 September 2009) where his signature rests perfectly to accompany his photo undedicated and bar lightly aged this is mint condition. On reverse has an personal autograph of famous German pianist Ludwig Hoffman (1925 - 1999) again undedicated and his signature resting perfectly also accompanying his portrait (see image 2). Both signatures are dated from the mid 1950s so surely the earliest autograph opportunities of their kind.
_Marga Anna Johanna Höffgen was a German contralto, known for singing oratorios, especially the Passions by Johann Sebastian Bach, and operatic parts such as Erda in Wagner's Der Ring des Nibelungen, performed at the Bayreuth Festival and Covent Garden Opera in London between 1960 and 1975._
_Ernst Märzendorfer was an Austrian conductor. Märzendorfer was born in Oberndorf bei Salzburg. He studied with Clemens Krauss at the Mozarteum in Salzburg, and was appointed as first conductor of the Graz Opera in 1945. He conducted at the Teatro Colón in Buenos Aires in the early 1950s_
