George reiter brill (1867-1918) a multi-faceted artist, is best known for his postcard series of the gink, a humpty-dumpty type character who played sports such as golf and baseball as well as expressing popular sentiments.

In the early 1900's the rose company was a major postcard company. It published artists including george brill and m. G. Hays. The company also published cards portrating opera personalities, actors and early baseball cards.

Condition is very good vintage.  please study the scans carefully for condition
