Item Description

This picture postcard depicting "Mannheim Friedrichsplatz" was mailed as German World War 1 Feld Post from Mannheim to Berlin in 1916. Mannheim double circle date stamp (it looks as though that at first a stamp was applied to the postcard with the sender then realizing the card could be sent free, so the stamp was pulled off, disrupting the paper a bit; the Mannheim dcds is complete proving the stamp was pulled first).

'6' in blue pencil.

Content is "Die Herzlichsten Grusse sendet..." (I send the most heartfelt greetings...) in black ink.

Postcard Specs: 'Rheinischer Kunst- und Postkarten-Verlag "Hepp", Mannheim.'

Corners lightly bumped to bumped. Mild corner creases left (top small, bottom larger; see scans).

The post card in the scan is the one you will receive.
