Very attractive and historic patriotic postcard showing Uncle Sam greeting Great White Fleet in Peru. The card sent at UPU rate with stamps tied by Callao February 29, 1908 leap year cancel. The Great White Fleet visited Callao, Peru from February 20-29, 1908 so likely sent by a sailor. Very scarce card and usage!
Sent 1908 (one stamp with scuffing) from Peru to Buffalo, New York, undivided back with some corner bumping and toning. Fine+ condition.
