A vintage postcard showing a Hoboken Police car and preparations for the dedication of a plaque to poet Stephen Foster in 1954. Foster lived at this building at 601 Bloomfield Street in Hoboken from 1854 to 1856, and wrote “Jeanie with the Light Brown Hair” during this time.
This postcard was published by the Koerber Post Card Co. in the 1960s or 1970s. It is 3½ x 5½ inch size, unused and in Excellent condition.
