...a dir le mie virtu basta un sorriso... / ...to say my virtues a smile is enough...: Rare Boccasile propaganda card for the RSI. The Italian artist produced propaganda for Mussolini's regime, and with the dictator's capture (and subsequent mountaintop rescue), moved to north as part of the RSI and joined the Italian SS, producing works such as this. I'm not supposed exact meaning -- German V2's ballistic missiles are raining down on an Italian city with a chortling Roosevelt appearing from the smoke. I guess since the south of Italy capitulated to the Allies the Germans are going to bomb them? Not a succinct message, at least to me, but a very rare card. Unused in excellent condition.
