Japanese 1908 Tokyo Railways Tram Great White Fleet Military Transport Postcard

nr72 This postcard is absolutely fascinating - it is from Japan from 1908 and shows the Tokyo Railway Company to commemorate the coming of Japan from the great neighbouring Republic in October 1908 (information from album notes) with giant flags on the front that are BC Canada and also Japanese - It has Welcome on the side of the tram in giant letters accompanying the flags - You can see the Japanese driver smiling and also the conductor to his left with a lady passenger imbetween who looks very well to do - A little aged mainly reverse and just very small light places to allow otherwise great condition and unused too.
