PFAS11 Antique circa 90 years ago hand signed 6" x 4" photo for Jenny Howard and Percy King who have both personally hand signed the photo where the signatures rests perfectly accompanying their portrait bar just light places this is outstanding condition.
_Jenny Howard from Walthamstow was a cockney comedienne who gained experience in provincial variety in the 1920s performing in English seaside resorts. Joined a theatrical group called The Yachtsmen in 1924 which resulted in her taking the stage name Jenny Howard. Met her husband, the entertainer and show business entrepreneur Percy King. First came to Australia in 1929 with Percy King to play there Tivoli circuit after an engagement at the London Palladium and returned to England at the end off this contract. Made many recordings in London during the 1930s. She returned to Australia in 1940 for another Tivoli contract and was stranded due to the war. Starred in "The Crazy Show" with George Wallace, Bob Dyer and a young Gloria Dawn. After the war stayed on in Australia, but worked on stage and film in Britain, South Africa & New Zealand as well as Australia. Continued to perform in revues and pantomimes into the 1970s._
