PFAS156 This is a rare opportunity to secure this antique 5.5" x 3.5" hand signed postcard for Joseph John Fisher White who has personally autographed the souvenir where his signature rests perfectly accompanying his portrait undedicated bar very small places this is outstanding condition and undedicated too (unused) (ex minus to ex). You can find full details of his historic film career (approx 30 movies from 1919 to 1940) and undedicated autograph too.
_Joseph John Fisher White (1 May 1865 14 January 1945) was a British stage and film actor. The eldest of four sons of Rev. John White, of Ampfield, of that family formerly of Hursley, by his wife Martha, daughter of Rev. John Fisher, he was educated at Monkton Combe School and Oriel College, Oxford, graduating BA in 1887. He became a solicitor's clerk (1891 census)._
_White developed a reputation for playing character roles in the theatre and began to appear in a significant number of British films from the early 1920s onwards. He was Chairman of the Actors' Association. He was the uncle of the actor Wilfrid Hyde-White, and was survived by a son, Hilary Fisher White (1902) and a daughter, Thalia Fisher White (1906), from his marriage to Edith Rhoda Blackwood._
