SMATZ014 This is a truly amazing collection of autographs from 2000 Jailbreak TV show escapee Laura Hawkins (one of only three contestants who achieved the feat) where she has sent the fan some extremely revealing photos - In fact they are so revealing the gallery image has to be the letter she sent the fan and you will need to click on the other images to view - All the items are great condition (the letter itself has a small corner indent but the signed photos are all mint - Each photo is giant size 12" x 8" and has been personally autographed by the Jailbreak escapee and they are mint condition too. (the show was hosted by DJ Craig Charles of Red Dwarf)
_Jailbreak, the TV escape show, aired in 2000 and saw some hopeful contestants try and escape a televised prison but only three lucky women managed to get away with it. Jailbreak was a reality television game show that in 2000 was way ahead of its time. Two groups of five contestants or prisoners - were put in a high security prison and awarded £100,000 if they could escape. Those who owned computers in 2000 could also watch the prisoners 24/7 online via the security cameras. Hosted by Red Dwarf actor and DJ Craig Charles and co-presented by Charlie Stayt and Ruth England, Channel 5 aired Jailbreak as a one off perhaps because it cost £2.5million to produce. The "prison" was at a secret location near Colsdale farm, just outside Cuffley and was completely kitted out with hi-tech security systems. Three contestants won the show - Roberta Woodhouse, Hannah Davies and Laura Hawkins and scooped the £100,000 prize._
