zx696 Antique postcard from a specialist military music collection this being sent from the Limburg POW camp showing prisoners from WW1 in Limburg that played as a band within the POW camp - please see image 1 that reads in large letters "Limburn Camp Prisoners Of War Band" - shows ageing and border handling to outside regions graded good minus to good allowing. (please note I do not know if these are Irish prisoners but google indicates most Limburg POWs in WW1 were Irish captives). (image 1 shows the official Limburg Prisoner Of War Camp and image 2 shows the band from inside the camp).
