Here is a nice REAL PHOTO postcard view that is part of the EDWARD BROMLEY FOLIO released in 1911 showing important early views of MINNESOTA HISTORY.     He amassed a collection of early photographs/tintypes/cdvs and released them as real photo postcards.     The FOLIO INDEX is shown in the photo section identifying each card--the INDEX IS NOT INCLUDED IN THE AUCTION!!    The index title reads:   EARLY PHOTOGRAPHS OF MINNEAPOLIS AND VICINITY 1849-1885 EDWARD A. BROMLEY'S COLLECTION PUBLISHED 1911.        This is #53 HANGING LITTLE SIX AND MEDICINE BOTTLE  with EXECUTION OF 2 INDIAN CHIEFS AT FORT SNELLING MINN. NOVEMBER 11, 1865 printed on the front.      This is a tragic aftermath of a sad event that previously had 38 Indians hung at Mankato in response to over 500 White settlers massacred during the Uprising.    Details of this event can be found online.  Medicine Bottle and Little Six/Shakopee escaped into Canada, were captured by bounty hunters, drugged and brought back to Fort Snelling for their execution.     This is a 1911 reprint of the original cdv----one went for $25,000 recently at Cowans Auction House in Ohio.      It has #53 on the front but does not have the Bromley embossing or stamp.           It is in VERY GOOD CONDITION with light wear, smudging---the lines are creases in THE ORIGINAL PHOTO THAT WAS COPIED--------SEE THE SCANS.     THANKS FOR BIDDING!
