SU This is a modern published postcard approx 7"x 5" of this vintage 1950s "Mohair Frigate Holly" hats which the card is presented as the front cover of a sewing pattern & here being modelled when just freshly knitted some 70 years ago - I believe it is a real photo comic postcard showing how life was back then where some of our knitting patterns made us look so awful and cringeworthy - Imagine walking about with these freshly knitted hats of the 1950s & how we would appear - one has the appearance of a ladies wool sailors hat (see right model) being a totally specialist and unique postcard it is unused and mint.
