zx769 Antique postcard effect souvenir of the RMS Homeric but this is actually an early 1900s Greeting Card which folds open for official headed paper to send friends when travelling on the White Star Ship - It reads "On Board The RMS Homeric" - The card and its inner contents are unused and mint (same as new even though 100+ years ago origin. (please see both images)
_RMS Homeric, originally launched as Columbus, was an ocean liner built for Norddeutscher Lloyd and launched in 1913 at the F. Schichau yard in Danzig, Germany. Columbus was ceded to Great Britain in 1919 as part of German war reparations. She was sold to the White Star Line in 1920, which named her Homeric. _
