Reading Red Cross Nurse Fete Carnival Military Men as Women RPC Old Postcard

zx732 Antique real photo postcard from a former owners collection of the Queen Victoria Nursing Institute in Reading this being a local Reading postcard that would seem 1920s or earlier - Shows local Red Cross Nurses on Parade in what seems a float from a Carnival Or Fete - Behind these are (what I assume army personnel.. if not local men) getting their faces shaved to become Nurses too !!! (they have their make up all on ready so this postcard has LGBT interest though its would seem fundraising) - There are lots of Nursing and related posters etc surrounding the people and comical banners including about Shaving Foam - Valets - Hairdressing - etc... and if you look closely at the Red Cross Nurses some of these are transvestites (only a few but you can tell them easily) - from Foulsham Studios in Reading and this postcard is unused and mint. Surely one of the best Reading postcards you will ever find of its kind.
