This is a beauty! It is a vintage RP RPPC REAL PHOTO POST CARD. It shows a railroad train loaded with freshly cut lumber! Men stand atop the huge stack and there is another man in a suit on the ground. Card front is printed and reads _SCHUYLER LAKE LUMBER CO. SCHUYLER LAKE N.Y. _
SCHUYLER LAKE is the name of a small hamlet in the town of Exetor in Otsego County NY. It lies at the south end of Canadarago Lake and south of Richfield Springs NY. It is also known as KANIATARAKE, which is a Mohawk name that translates to "on the lake".
Back of card is divided and is postally used. There is some light spotting, paper residue on the back and small lower left corner crease as shown. PLEASE NOTE: THE WATERMARK SHOWN ON THE SCAN HERE IS NOT ON THE ORIGINAL POSTCARD YOU ARE BUYING. Guaranteed original and authentic.
