RMS CARONIA SHIP POSTCARD (c. 1904) RMS CARONIA SHIP POSTCARD (c. 1904) Click images to enlarge Description Very attractive and historic postcard. RMS Caronia was a Cunard Line transatlantic steam ocean liner. She was launched in 1904 and scrapped in 1932. In World War I she was first an armed merchant cruiser (AMC) and then a troop ship. RMS Carmania was launched in 1905 as her sister ship, although the two had different machinery. When new, the pair were the largest ships in the Cunard fleet.[1] Unsent, undivided back with top left corner crease, some corner bumping/wear & toning. Fair-Fine condition. (Any lines on reverse side are from the scanner and not on the actual card.) Base shipping is $2.00 domestic and $3.00 international. Purchases at/over $49.95 must be insured. All items/orders selling for over $49.95 will be based upon final sale price. Seller will combine multiple purchases. Please wait for an invoice from seller before making payment.
