Here is an interesting old rp of king albert i of belgium !
This is a nice one! It is a rp real photo rppc postcard. It shows a military greeting aboard a us battleship called new york (bb-34). Dignitaries greet the king as sailors salute. Card front reads _the king and queen of belgium aboard the new york j.T.C. _
KING ALBERT I (8 April 1875 – 17 February 1934) reigned as King Of Belgium from 1909 to 1934. This was an eventful period in the history of Belgium which included the period of World War I (1914–1918), when 90 percent of Belgium was overrun, occupied, and ruled by the Germans. Other crucial issues included the adoption of the Treaty Of Versailles, , the the ruling of the belgian Congo as an overseas possession of the Kingdom of Belgium and the reconstruction of Belgium following the war. He also reigned during the first five years of the Great Depression (1929–1934). King Albert died in a mountaineering accident in eastern Belgium in 1934, at the age of 58.
See the other cards I have from this same event listed on Hip. Card back is undivided and postally unused. Card is hand identified by the original owner as _JULY 1918 AT ROSYTH SCOTLAND._ Condition is excellent as shown.
