Wonderful real photo postcard of the Monte-Carlo Casino ("Vue Générale du Casino") showing a well-dressed crowd strolling to and fro on the plaza. Card sent June 4, 1919, to a Mrs. J.W. Carey, Wenonah, New Jersey, with a 10 centesimi Italian (Poste Italiane) stamp. Message reads in part, "Gardens are far more beautiful than you can imagine. Doubt I will ever come home."G. Gallo-Ventimiglia; Visto-Censura Torino.

, appears to be a family portrait of a mother, daughter, and son, taken on Christmas Day, 1930. The reverse says "Weihnachten" in elegant, old-fashioned German cursive known as Kurrent. Divided back, stamped "Maria von Schendel, Baden-Baden."
