My cards usually come from large collections that have been stored over years and may have some pencil markings on the back. I usually do not remove them but they will not be anything I that I have added to them

Excellent- may have light corner or edge wear
Very Good - may have corner or edge wear, light surface wear,light marks, soil, bends or creases Good - moderate wear ,marks, bends creases and other imperfections as noted
