Caption on back "This thriving little farm and lumber town in Northern Arizona got its name in 1878 from the drawing of cards by two pioneer partners to decide ownership of the land on which the town now stands. Deuce of clubs showed low in the draw-thus the town's unusual name."

Occasionally postcard backs (usually real photo) will appear yellowed, which is a flaw from my scanner. If there is no staining mentioned in the condition statement, the card is not discolored. Also if odd colored lines appear this is also a scanner defect unless mentioned.
