A postcard of the two angels or cherubs from the painting _The Sistine Madonna_, created in c.1513-1514 by (Raffaello Sanzio da Urbino, 1483-1520).
One story is that when Raphael was painting the Madonna, his model's children would come in to watch. Raphael was struck by their posture as they watched, and he added them to the painting exactly as he saw them. Another story is that Raphael was inspired by two children he saw on the street, looking wistfully into the window of a bakery.
This postcard was published in the 1990s. It is about 4 x 6 inches (10x15cm) size. It is unused and in Mint condition.

* For shipments to Italy, Spain, Portugal, Greece, Malta, China, or Central and South America: If the value is over $20, the shipment must be sent by Registered Mail for security. The cost is $14 extra.
