This is an awesome, used, real photo postcard rppc, showing a man as either st. Nicholas, santa claus, or father time. The card was postally mailed in november, well before the holidays, but i cannot tell its intent. The text caption in the lower right is "father keeps on doing it." leaves somethings open to the imagination, doesn't it.? Anyway, this card is credited to "davidson bros. Real photographic series", and was printed in britain. Card shows minor soiling, a lower right corner area crease, a small crack or crease in the surface of the card, along the lower right base of the robe, and a very light bend or crease in the top, center of the card, nearly negligible. Re the view, i am not quite sure what santa holds in his hands, as it runs from the rod, in a string -like manner behind him, around the window bars, and back to the doorway on the left. Also, what is with the bell or spool, on the ground by his foot.? If you know about this card, drop me a note via Hip. Always like to get things right on these odd listings.
