news102 - This has come from an antique social history postcards where the owner sourced some of the most unusual fashion postcards of the early 1900s - whilst undated it dates around 1902 to 1908 and most of the collection are around 1904 - this is a pair of postcards that both show the most unusual of hats - one in the group photo the lady wears a silver hat that is like The Wizard Of Oz - but the best postcard is the lady in black who wears a hat like a huge flying saucer over the head that is totally flat - it just doesnt look as though it could be a hat as bar the flower dangling over the edge it has a giant flat rim - please enlarge - you wont get hats like these today - one of these cards is real photo and both are unused graded vg condition
