US Navy, USS Denver? Unknown Location, Trimmed Product Photo Click Image for Larger Preview Product Information This is a nice vintage early real photo postcard showing a scene of a US Navy's ship that may be the USS Denver at an unknown location. Someone wrote on the back USS Denver. I don't know how this was determined. I don't think the ship on the right looks like the USS Denver. I cannot tell if the ship on the left might be the one that person was referring to with the note. The card is trimmed so perhaps it came from a scrapbook that indicated the name of the ship. Photographer: Unknown. Trimmed to 3 3/16" by 5 3/16". The corners have wear. The image is nice and clean. Postally unused with an AZO stampbox from the 1907-1918 time period. Please Note: If you see a florescent colored line or streak on the postcard image it is from the scan, not on the card.
