Underwriters Salvage Corps No. 3 St. Louis Missouri Postcard. Features men riding on an early fire truck in front of their building. The organization was founded in 1874 to reduce the loss of property due to fires. They helped innovate early fire equipment and closed on December 31, 1955. We have many more wonderful and unique postcards, along with other paper ephemera. Take a look at our store to see more treasures. Postcards are packaged in a plastic sleeve and mailed in a cardboard or thick paper mailer. ----------------We do have a dog who sometimes contributes a hair or two to the cause. But he generally does not collect postcards and is looking for love in all the right places.--
