Item Description

This Picture Post Card depicting 'Nancy.--L'Hémicycle de la Carrière. -- LL' was mailed as American Expeditionary Forces Soldier's free mail from Muerth-et-Moselle, France to Dallas, Texas in 1919 franked by a 10c French Sower issue tied by a Muerth-et-Moselle railway station circular date stamp.

Arriving at Dallas, a 'Join the Army and Learn a Trade' slogan machine cancel was applied, and the postcard was forwarded to Kansas City, Missouri.

Postcard Specs: '24. Imp Lèvy Fils & Cie, Paris.'

Small, light corner creases / bumps (see scans).

Light horizontal, diagonal or vertical lines in images are SCANNER ARTIFACT !
